5 oz bottles

The 5 oz bottles are perfect for newborns and babies under 3 months. Their slow-flow design allows your baby to drink safely and at their own pace.

This smaller size is ideal for feeding your baby from birth, while gently awakening their senses thanks to a texture as soft and supple as skin. Choose from our range of bottles in the color you love most!

8 oz bottles

The 8 oz bottles are perfectly suited for babies over 3 months and up to 9 months (and even beyond). You can pair your bottle with a fast-flow nipple if your baby drinks thicker milk or if you add cereals to the bottle.

The larger capacity makes it easier to add cereals to satisfy hungrier babies. And of course, the unique colors of our bottles will delight both little ones and parents!

11 oz bottles

From 6 months, babies’ nutritional needs increase and they tend to drink more milk or formula. With an 11 oz capacity, these bottles provide a larger quantity of liquid, perfect for meeting your baby’s growing appetite.

The 11 oz bottles are also very practical for combining breast milk or formula with cereals or purées.

How do I clean my Élhée bottle?

No need to stress about cleaning. To keep your Élhée bottle spotless after every feeding, simply use a small amount of dish soap, preferably liquid, and clean the inside with your fingers or a bottle brush to remove any milk residue.

You can also wash it by hand or place it in the dishwasher. Please note, however, that dishwasher use may slightly discolor the bottle over time.

How do I heat milk in my Élhée bottle?

The best way to warm powdered milk is in a bain-marie, by placing the bottle in a pot of warm water. Be careful not to burn yourself when removing it. To make sure the milk is at the right temperature, you can use a food thermometer and stop heating once it reaches around 36.5°C / 97.7°F.

Important: once the liquid exceeds 37°C / 98.6°F, it can present a risk of burns for your baby. Always check carefully before feeding.

What are the advantages of a medical-grade silicone bottle?

Medical-grade silicone bottles offer several key benefits for your baby:

  • Safe, hypoallergenic, and free from BPA, phthalates, and any harmful chemicals, ensuring your baby’s health and safety.
  • The material mimics the softness and natural texture of the breast, making the transition between breastfeeding and bottle-feeding easier, especially in mixed feeding.
  • Resistant to high temperatures, they do not deform when heated or placed in the dishwasher.
  • Durable and shock-resistant, they will not break if dropped and will not scratch over time.

How do I choose the right bottle size for my baby?

The choice of bottle size depends on your baby’s age and feeding needs.

For newborns, choose the 150 ml bottle with slow-flow nipples.

As your baby grows and increases their milk intake (between 3 and 6 months, sometimes earlier), switch to 240 ml bottles with medium-flow nipples.

For older babies (6 months and up), the larger 330 ml bottles with fast-flow nipples are perfect if your baby drinks cereals with milk or simply has a bigger appetite.

Is my Élhée bottle compatible with breast pumps from other brands?

Absolutely! We have developed two specific adapters that make Élhée bottles compatible with two popular breast pump brands: Avent and Medela. These adapters are designed to give moms more flexibility and freedom.

They allow you to easily connect your Élhée bottle, making it simple to pump breast milk directly into the bottle. In addition, the Avent adapter can also be used with portable bottle warmers from brands such as Munchkin, Mini Cupid, and Tommee Tippee.

How can I prevent colic in bottle-fed babies?

Colic is a common concern for infants, but here are some simple tips to help minimize it:

  • Choose a nipple adapted to your baby’s age. A flow that’s too fast can cause air ingestion and colic. Élhée bottles come with different flow rates to meet every baby’s needs.
  • Make sure the nipple is always filled with milk during feeding by tilting the bottle to avoid air intake.
  • Feed your baby in a calm environment without distractions, so they can focus on feeding.
  • If your baby shows signs of colic, take breaks during the feeding to allow them to release swallowed air naturally.
