Portable bottle warmers:

All Élhée bottles can be used with portable bottle warmers from brands such as Munchkin, Tommee Tippee, Mini Cupid, and Appy Baby, as long as they are equipped with our adapter ring.

Bain-marie and microwave:

The bain-marie method is 100% compatible with Élhée bottles. Microwave use is also possible; however, it is not recommended for warming breast milk.

Extra tip: Use an electric kettle with adjustable temperature settings to ensure the water reaches the perfect 98.6°F (37°C) for preparing your baby’s bottle. Even quicker and easier!

1. Take apart the different parts of the Élhée bottle.
2. Wash them thoroughly with warm, soapy water (preferably using an organic, fragrance-free product).
3. Rinse them with clean water and let them air dry.

Resistant to extreme temperatures and fully detachable, the original design of the Élhée bottle ensures perfect hygiene. It can be cleaned by hand, without the need for a bottle brush, or in the dishwasher without risk of damage.

Before and after each use of the Élhée bottle, we recommend removing the teat from the upper ring and completely dismantling the bottle to clean it thoroughly for hygiene reasons. Dismantling the different parts allows for more hygienic cleaning of your bottle.

Pour une meilleure conservation de votre biberon, un nettoyage soigneux à l’aide d’un goupillon, à l’eau chaude et savonneuse est idéal.

Laissez ensuite sécher les pièces détachées sur un linge propre, la bouteille retournée avec la collerette en silicone relevée collerette pour qu’elle sèche dans ses moindres recoins.

Optez pour un produit de nettoyage biologique et sans parfum pour éviter que le biberon ne s’imprègne de l’odeur du produit vaisselle.

Les biberons Élhée sont compatibles avec l'utilisation du lave-vaisselle. Attention toutefois à ce que le lave-vaisselle ne contienne pas de sauce tomate, de purée de carottes/courge ou d'épices comme le curry qui pourrait venir teinter le silicone de votre biberon.

According to current WHO recommendations, it is no longer necessary to sterilize baby bottles. Careful cleaning with hot water and a dishwashing product, preferably organic and fragrance-free, is sufficient to ensure perfect hygiene on a daily basis.

However, if you prefer to continue sterilizing your bottles, this is entirely possible with Élhée bottles (with the exception of decorated models, which cannot be sterilized). To do this:

Completely disassemble the bottle.
Immerse all parts (body, ring, nipple, cap) in boiling water for 5 minutes.

Once removed from the pan, immediately clip the ring and cap together to prevent the material from deforming and becoming difficult to open later.

Leave the parts to dry in the open air on a clean cloth.

The sealing disc included in your Élhée bottle box is designed to make the bottle completely leakproof, whether for mixing or safe transport. The disc is placed on the neck of the bottle before screwing on the ring and nipple.

You can also turn the bottle into a small airtight container (or jar) for purées or fruit compotes by removing the nipple and color ring, then placing the sealing disc on the bottle’s neck.

Yes, the Élhée bottle is microwave-safe. However, always check the milk temperature on the inside of your wrist or palm beforehand to avoid burns.

⚠️ Important: It is not recommended to use the microwave to warm breast milk, as this method can damage its nutritional components.

Élhée bottles are specially designed to help breastfed babies transition smoothly to bottle-feeding or mixed feeding. However, they are also perfectly suitable for all babies, including those who are not breastfed, from birth.

Élhée bottles come with a physiological medium-flow nipple, ideal for both breastfed and non-breastfed babies from day one.

Yes, Élhée bottles are perfectly adapted for mixed feeding. The soft and extra-supple physiological nipple provides sensations close to breastfeeding. Its wide base mimics the natural sucking position and nipple shape.

We also offer slow-flow nipples specially designed for breastfed or premature babies. The adapted flow rate encourages babies to make the same sucking effort as at the breast, helping to reduce the risk of nipple confusion.

If you notice leaking, first make sure the silicone collar is properly fitted around the white screw ring. Then, check that the nipple and the outer colored screw ring are correctly assembled. Finally, screw the upper and lower parts of the bottle tightly together.

The bottle body, sealing disc, and nipples are made of 100% medical-grade silicone.

The anti-leak cap, upper screw ring, and lower screw ring are made of polypropylene (PP), a plastic free from additives, Bisphenol A (BPA), and Bisphenol S (BPS).

The medical-grade silicone used in Élhée bottles is completely safe for your baby’s health. This silicone meets US FDA, CPSIA, EN 14350, and BfR standards. It contains no Bisphenol A (BPA), nor any other harmful substances such as Bisphenol S (BPS), lead, PVC, phthalates, nitrosamines, cadmium, or heavy metals.

Élhée bottles are guaranteed free of Bisphenol (BPA, BPS, BPF) and do not release microplastics. They also offer many additional benefits: flexible, hygienic, non-sticky, resistant to drying or cracking with use.

Withstanding extreme temperatures, Élhée bottles are completely safe for use in the dishwasher, microwave, sterilizer, and freezer.

Bisphenol A (BPA) is a chemical primarily used in the production of polycarbonate plastics. It acts as an estrogen mimic and is widely recognized as an endocrine disruptor. Studies have linked BPA exposure to depression, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and several other health issues.

BPA can be especially dangerous during pregnancy, infancy, and early childhood. Its use in baby bottles has been banned in France since 2010, and since January 1, 2015, the ban has been extended to all food-related packaging. In some cases, Bisphenol S (BPS) has been used as a substitute, but it presents the same toxicity risks as BPA.
