Leopard print: the pattern for coordinated baby and mom outfits

Leopard print has been THE trend we just can’t quit for the past few years. Tawny, pink, or black and white—choose whatever suits your preferences and usual color palette.

The huge advantage of leopard fabric is how easily it adapts to your style and, above all, the way you want to wear it. Chic vibe with a leopard scarf or ankle boots for the office, or a cozy-chill style with an oversized sweater and fuzzy socks for the weekend—leopard print follows your energy.

Check out, for example, the leopard collection by Tajinebanane. Leggings and maternity leggings, nursing sweatshirts or not, but also nursing dresses and blouses—all of them embrace the “graou” trend to celebrate the lioness mom in you. Don’t miss the too-cute Léo Kids jumpsuit, perfect for braving the cold season for ages 3 to 36 months.

In fact, how about baby joining your trend and sporting their own leopard print? It’s the perfect excuse to pick up a coordinated piece! 🥰

Wild & animal-inspired baby clothes

When it comes to baby clothes, there’s something for every taste, every print, every color, and every style. And really, what could be cuter than a tiny outfit peppered with adorable details like animal-shaped buttons, an oversized fit, or a delightfully oversized print?

Now, imagine all three coming together in one must-have leopard print piece for fall. At Marlot Paris, it’s the leopard vanilla print romper that’s drawing all the compliments. In collaboration with Smallable, both brands have created an adorable and comfortable, poetic and practical outfit, perfect to wear with bare legs or with tights, for little ones from 3 months to 2 years. For bigger kids, check out the Poppy and Mikky sweat and legging bundle, bronze leopard.

For a “graou” explorer look out in nature, gamine gamine. dares with a 100% leopard print oversized faux fur jacket lined with ultra-soft fleece. Cozy and easy to slip on, it can be worn with leggings, over a dress, or with corduroy pants—both on-trend and emotionally expressive. The bonus: there’s a version for moms, too.

First shoes with a wild twist

For little ones, while “cat-like footsteps” aren’t quite possible yet, wild shoes are! Who could resist the absolutely adorable Vala first-steps booties by Ma petite pointure? Made from soft leather and equipped with double zippers for easy on/off, they feature a sparkly leopard print that’s super chic.

At home, little leopards go into camouflage mode with Les Pas Petits’ soft nautical leather slippers Les Pas Petits. Made in Hauts de France, these slippers—also available in adult sizes 😉—stand out for being useful indoors and out, even on wet ground.

Leopard print: accessories, too

Bags, scrunchies, headscarves, bandanas, or even belts—accessories, too, are succumbing to the spotted trend we love to wear in small touches. For baby: hats, headbands, muslin swaddles, pacifier clips—if you want a hint of wild, here you go! The print is actually so popular that even the iconic baby bottle succumbed to its charm.

The iconic BibRond: chic “graou” trend!

After the matching slippers or the mother/child jacket, imagine the iconic bottle, still anti-colic and still made from medical-grade silicone, but reimagined for the autumn trend. After the universal Sand and Nude colors, and the sleek and stylish Milk and Black BibRonds, Élhée introduces its BibRond Graouu Ultra Chic!

Lids and fastening rings now come in the must-have leopard print, for a bottle that’s just as healthy and user-friendly—and now, more stylish than ever.

Matching your purse, diaper bag, or baby’s outfit of the day, the Graouu bottle is one you’ll definitely want to collect.

Against wind and damp: How to dress baby this fall?

From October right through to March/April, periods of wind, rain, and even snow—more or less intense—are frequent, along with sometimes sudden changes in weather.

To get your little one ready to face it all, invest in a waterproof coat or full-body suit, depending on their age and your daily routines. When taking baby out in a stroller, consider a rainproof footmuff or bring along a fleece blanket.

When it comes to baby’s clothes, use the onion (or layering) technique by building up layers to trap warmth.

For example, pick a bodysuit and add a t-shirt or sweater, cardigan, pants or a skirt with tights, plus socks and suitable shoes, especially if your baby is starting to walk. Also, for babies who aren’t walking yet—and therefore cool down faster—it’s often advised to add one extra layer compared to what the parents are wearing.

Remember, on windy or very cold days, it’s essential to add a well-lined hat and warm mittens. Extremities (head, hands, feet) are the first to get cold.

Mom tip: To check if your baby is cold, feel the back of their neck. If it’s cool or cold, add another layer of clothing.

And at night: how to dress baby when it’s chilly?

Nights are actually simpler. Remember, it’s not recommended to place blankets in your sleeping baby’s crib. In a bedroom that’s aired out daily and kept at 64–68 °F, if it’s chilly, go for a combination of a long-sleeve bodysuit, footed sleeper, and a season-appropriate sleep sack. If it’s a bit warmer, opt for a short-sleeve onesie under baby’s sleeper and sleep sack...preferably in leopard print, of course!
