ChooChoo: The Only Medical-Grade Silicone Pacifier

When choosing a pacifier for your baby, what matters most to you: the product's safety, its design, its durability? While not always a constant, the pacifier—be it called a binky or a soother—quickly becomes a baby’s favorite once adopted. In just a few days and through various situations—upset moments, minor aches, a bout of tiredness—it takes on the role of an irreplaceable companion, both day and night. For this reason, and because Élhée prioritizes babies’ health and well-being above all, we are proud to introduce the only pacifier made entirely from medical-grade silicone. The only one. Just for you. And for your child.

ChooChoo, the 100% medical-grade silicone, 0% plastic pacifier

After the iconic anti-colic bottle and the fun learner cup, the entire Élhée team is very happy to introduce ChooChoo: the first baby pacifier made entirely of medical-grade silicone.

  • The only pacifier that's 100% medical-grade silicone (nipple and shield).
  • A silicone nipple guaranteed plastic-free.
  • A one-piece design for greater hygiene, preventing accumulation of dirt.
  • Ultra-thin and flexible, a shape that reduces the risk of dental gaps and poor teeth alignment.
  • A physiological pacifier adapting to babies’ palates.
  • A soft and pleasant material, very comfortable.
  • Tasteless and odorless.
  • The ChooChoo pacifier is entirely made in France.

Because babies are the most precious thing in the world, Élhée works to offer them the best of everything. Allergen-free, free of harmful substances, with no risk of microplastic migration or ingestion of small parts, our medical-grade silicone pacifier is also highly durable and designed for a natural suction experience, close to breastfeeding.

3 exclusive benefits of medical-grade silicone for babies’ health

From breast implants to catheters and even heart valves, medical-grade silicone meets strict standards in safety, biocompatibility, and harmlessness. For all these reasons, Élhée has always used it for making their bottles, learner cups, nipples, spouts, and pacifiers for babies.

Safe, medical-grade silicone is also hypoallergenic

Medical-grade silicone is hypoallergenic, so it can come into contact with your baby’s skin without causing a reaction. It is also BPA-free (bisphenol A and its harmful effects on brain, nervous, and endocrine system development) and phthalate-free (hormone disruptors). Lastly, medical-grade silicone releases no microplastics, even when heated.

Great news for parents, knowing that our babies spend part of their day—and the entire night—with a pacifier in their mouths.💤

Durable and long-lasting: medical-grade silicone does not degrade

What’s your experience with other pacifiers when it comes to durability and safety? Unlike rubber, which cracks and crumbles quickly, medical-grade silicone doesn't break, doesn't deform, doesn't crack, and doesn't tear, even with intensive use, daily washing, or repeated exposure to microwaves and dishwashers. It keeps its original flexibility and integrity.

This can significantly extend a pacifier’s lifespan, even after your baby's first teeth come in.🦷

Convenient: medical-grade silicone is easy to clean

Non-stick, it can be cleaned easily by hand using just a little warm water and gentle soap. In parallel, its heat resistance (from -58°F to 482°F) means medical-grade silicone can go in the dishwasher for regular upkeep and hassle-free hygiene.

While baby pacifiers may not always end up in the dishwasher, you’ll likely be rinsing them very frequently. Another plus for silicone and for one-piece pacifiers! 🫧

Élhée’s mission: ensuring the unique bond between baby and pacifier

the only medical-grade silicone nipple

Because Élhée’s primary mission is to enhance the healthy, sensory, and durable aspect of baby care products, ChooChoo is the only medical-grade silicone pacifier designed for your baby’s delight and your peace of mind.

A sacred object for your child (so much so, as you know, it’s better to have several on hand for any situation), the pacifier soothes, comforts, reassures, and calms baby. It also helps with falling asleep. This is called the sucking reflex.

Very quickly, the bond between baby and pacifier will grow important. Our goal is to ensure this for you. By using a healthy material, by crafting a unique design, and by creating a product that’s far more than a child care accessory—more than just a baby pacifier.

A transitional object linked to your child’s emotional development, the pacifier brings calm and self-regulation. More reasons—if any were needed—to offer the most beloved soother there is.😉

When to give baby their first pacifier?

The best approach is to let feeding-related sucking settle first, preventing any nipple confusion; the first pacifier for newborns can be introduced at around 4 to 6 weeks of age and continue until about 2 or 3 years. A gentle newborn gift idea to add to a Newborn Pack or to the Élhée Nursing Set, with perhaps the Eau Lactée as a bonus, to help create precious memories.

Bonus: 4 tips to find the perfect pacifier

elhee medical-grade silicone pacifiers

In baby stores, pharmacies, online or at big box retailers, pacifiers are everywhere! In all colors and shapes, they all seem to tout their own advantages. To pick the best pacifier—the safest and most durable—consider these four key points.

A size suited to your child’s age

Every pacifier sold displays the recommended age on the packaging. Usually, you’ll find 0–6 month, 6–18 month, and 18+ month baby pacifiers. Some brands also offer an XS size, smaller and more flexible, designed for newborns up to two months and for premature babies.

A physiological design for teeth and palate

Not only should the pacifier feel comfortable in the mouth (a proper size helps), but it should also support proper oral development for your baby’s teeth and palate.

That’s why you’ll find anatomic pacifiers (shaped to mimic mom’s breast), physiological (similar to anatomic but shorter and smaller), ergonomic (designed for optimal comfort), and orthopedic (developed to prevent possible orthodontic issues).

An easy-to-clean pacifier

Since it will be part of every adventure—and since baby will often drop it—always choose a pacifier that’s easy to clean, made of silicone with as few joints, crevices, or rough edges as possible where dirt can hide.

A healthy and safe material

Finally, choose a pacifier for your little one that is safe, durable and healthy, with no chemicals or risk of allergic reactions. Out of silicone and latex (the main materials for pacifiers), the first one checks every box.
